Thanks for reading, Mulli. I think that a little bit of discouragement is healthy, especially for a technology that is widely recommended. When a tool creates a lot of hype around its use, it’s much easier for the downsides of that tool to be hidden by enthusiasm from it’s proponents. The point of this article is to highlight that there are tradeoffs that you might not be aware of if you don’t have a good grasp of what’s happening g underneath the later of abstraction you’ve chosen.
