Top down resources would include anything that allows you to be immersed in the resource. I think the best types are project ideas where the high level details have been mapped out and you’re left to build the functionality. Also implemeting something from a specification (something like Array.prototype.map()) where you know the desired output but you have to code the details are a great way to learn those specific peices of functionality.
